Today I thought I’d share a recipe for chocolate fudge that my uncle makes every year for Christmas. It comes in two varieties: Male Fudge and Female Fudge.
- 4 cups sugar
- 12 oz. evaporated milk
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 13 ounces marshmallow creme
- 1/2 cup nuts
Combine sugar, butter and milk. Place on stove over low heat until it melts together, stirring constantly. Turn up heat and boil for 8 minutes, stirring constantly to avoid scorching. Take off heat and add marshmallow creme and chips. Stir by hand or with an electric mixer–just work fast to avoid hardening in the pan. Pout onto a cookie sheet and let set.
Same as above, but leave out the nuts. Yep, that’s the kind of humor I hail from. 😉
