This week I’m sharing a glance into Jorge’s relationship with his siblings, Miriam and Adam. It’s also part of a larger snippet from To Growl or to Groan that I’m sharing as part of the MFRW Home for the Holidays hop. If you’d like to read the whole excerpt, go to this post.
“I’m sure Chloe doesn’t want to see my robots.”
I give him a bemused smile. “So you do still have them? How cute.”
Miriam enters the conversation. “What’s cute?”
Adam turns to her. “Jorge’s boyhood robot collection, which he evidently still has.”

I love the way siblings have of embarrassing us in front of others, particularly those we want to impress. Ok, I only love it when it’s not happening to me.

I’m an only child, so I get to base all the sibling rivalry on observation of others–mostly my husband and his siblings. 🙂

If I knew how to build a robot when I was a kid I’m sure I’d still have it. 🙂

Wonder if they’re the same robots or something more than toys now?

Who doesn’t love a nerdy hobby? If you don’t have something you’re a little embarrassingly enthused over, you haven’t lived!
