Heidi is an intelligent dog and quickly learned basic commands while at the shelter.
I regularly post adoptable animals on my blog because there is such a need for homes. This pretty girl is looking for her forever home in Kentucky. She was brought in by her owners after she became pregnant. Her puppies have all found homes and now she needs one. Her experience serves as a reminder of the importance of spaying and neutering your animals. 
How cute is Ziggy? She’s an energetic, loving girl looking for her forever home in Kansas.
She loves everyone, including cats! She’d make a great jogging or running buddy.

Chloe is a doberman mix who’s not quite full grown yet.
Today, I picked out an adoptable dog in Indiana who shares a name with my heroine Chloe. And she’s a doberman mix. I love dobermans. Despite their reputation as fierce guard dogs, it actually takes a good deal of training to make them that way. Most dobes are actually quite timid, but once they get to know you, there’s a reason they are called Velcro dogs. You WILL cuddle with them. đŸ™‚ They have a lot of energy, are intelligent and most do very well with other pets and children.

My snippet this week was about Chloe’s cats. Sashi is a black and white tuxedo kitty who has plenty of attitude but definitely loves her human. So I’m featuring adoptable Venus this week. She’s in Illinois.
